こども企画展「いろトリどりの宝モノ」
Planned Exhibition for Children －Birds in Arts and Crafts－

立花家史料館には、５千をこえる宝ものがあります。すべて、柳川の殿さまだった立花家が集めたものです。美しい絵、きれいな暮らしの道具、殿さまの「よろいかぶと」、姫さまの着物など、はじめて見るものばかりかもしれませんが、じっくり見ると、おもしろい発見がたくさんあります。
　この夏は、こどももおとなも一緒に楽しめるよう、立花家の「くら」の中から、たくさんのトリたちが集まってきました。お殿さまになった気分で、宝ものをかざっている色とりどりのトリたちと仲よく遊びながら、日本の美術にくわしくなろう。

There are more than 5,000 treasures in the Tachibana Museum. All of them were collected by the Tachibana family which used to be the lords of the Yanagawa domain. As you look around at these collections of beautiful paintings, artistic craftworks, suits of armor for lords and kimono dresses for princesses, you will discover a lot of new and interesting things.
For this summer exhibition, various kinds of birds came flying into the museum from the treasure house of the Tachibana family. Try to find the birds in the artworks displayed in the exhibition room and learn about Japanese arts and traditions! We believe that anyone from children to adults can enjoy this exhibition and we are looking forward for you all to visit.
